GRAPHIC DESIGN AND ART OF PROPAGANDA Many young Soviet artists were committed to the Socialist State and created work that falls into the category of political propaganda. The early use of photomontage allowed artists such as Rodchenko, Klutsis and El Lissitzky to transform the image with political ends in mind. In addition, they were the first to place their art at the service of graphic design. |
