a sign of a new culture of freedom, which stands
out, for example, in the works of Ferdinand Hodler,
Paula Modersohn-Becker and in the critical impulse
of Edvard Munch's painting, takes place in the context
of the cultural reformism of the turn of the century,
which also concerned the artistic project of Brücke.
